We Look Forward To Welcoming you Into this Space
hi, im neli ☀︎
My life mantra is Love What IS, which eventually became the name of my healing practice and the foundation of how I move through the world.
The phrase came to me when I was 21 years old after unexpectedly experiencing one of the most joyful, peaceful, blissful, and liberated states of being I had ever known. I had no idea it was possible to feel so free from the stories, fears, and limitations that often shape our lives. In that moment, I remember thinking, if everyone could experience this kind of freedom, the world would be a better place.
Without fully realizing it, that experience set me on a devoted path of learning how to embody that state more consistently and helping others reconnect with it within themselves.
At first, I didn't know what that path would look like. I simply followed what felt true. Eventually, I found yoga, and later yogic philosophy, which gave me language for much of what I had already been experiencing. The practice transformed my life and opened the door to community, connection, expression, and teaching.
As my journey unfolded, I continued exploring other modalities that supported healing and self-discovery. Reiki became a particularly meaningful part of my path, awakening the energy worker within me and allowing me to witness profound shifts in the lives of my clients. Watching people reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and remember their wholeness continues to be one of the greatest gifts of this work.
My education also expanded through earning a degree in Lifestyle Medicine and becoming a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, allowing me to bridge holistic healing with evidence-based approaches to well-being.
More recently, cacao has become another beautiful thread woven into my offerings. I am continually inspired by its ability to soften the heart, deepen connection, and create space for authenticity, both within ourselves and with one another.
Today, I blend yoga, Reiki, cacao, wellness coaching, and community gathering into the spaces I facilitate. Whether through ceremonies, workshops, trainings, classes or one-on-one work, my passion is supporting people in reconnecting with their authentic selves, surrendering what no longer serves them, and remembering what truly matters.
The more I witness these transformations, the more called I feel to continue offering this work. At the end of the day, I simply love reminding people that MAGIC IS REAL if we choose to attune our minds to it, and continuously show up to do the work. I've watched too many beautiful things unfold not to believe it.
hi, i’m zahra ☀︎
the past handful of years challenged me in ways that made me realize how important it is to actively reach for joy instead of waiting for it to find us. through that process, i kept coming back to the same thought: we need more spaces where people can come together, feel seen, and share what they’re moving through.
we’re living through a real loneliness epidemic, and even though social media keeps us constantly connected, many of us feel more disconnected than ever. i want joyful wanderer wellness to be part of a return to something simpler and more human- in-person gatherings, meaningful conversations, pen-to-paper reflection, time in nature, and moments where our phones aren’t the center of the experience.
i’ve been practicing yoga for over 12 years, i’m forest therapy certified, and i’ve traveled to more than 30 countries. travel has shaped the way i think about hospitality in a really meaningful way. some of the most memorable experiences i’ve had weren’t necessarily the most luxurious always. They were the ones where i felt welcomed, cared for, connected to a place, and invited to experience something differently. that feeling is something i want to bring into every joyful wanderer experience.
the brand is influenced by what i’ve learned from different cultures, landscapes, rituals, gathering spaces, and approaches to rest around the world. i think hospitality is about much more than where you sleep or what’s served at the table. it’s about how a space makes you feel and the thoughtfulness behind every detail.
my current psychology studies and research are another important part of that vision. as i continue pursuing the path toward becoming a psychologist, i hope to bring together what i’m learning about human behavior, connection, wellbeing, and mental health with the community-centered experiences i believe people are craving.
joyful wanderer is my way of creating those spaces now: places where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and one another, experience genuine hospitality, and remember that wellness doesn’t always have to be something we pursue alone. sometimes, it begins simply by gathering together. ☀︎
